Abstract
⺠Fetal exposure to glucocorticoid has long term effects on glutamatergic system. ⺠Carbenoxolone (Cbx) models prenatal stress by increasing glucocorticoid levels. ⺠We examine effects of Cbx on scaffolding proteins of NMDA receptors. ⺠Cbx causes a decrease in SPAR and PSD-95 but an increase in Snk. ⺠Alteration of Snk-SPAR pathway may influence age related memory deficits.
