Abstract
ⶠDecreased synaptosomal GABA concentration contributes to epileptogenesis in TRM hippocampus. ⶠElevations of GAT-1 and GAT-3 at mRNA and protein levels promote the generation of epileptic seizure in TRM hippocampus. ⶠUp-regulation of GABAR α1 subunit may act as a compensatory mechanism to reduce the occurrence or severity of epilepsy in TRM hippocampus.
