Abstract
ⶠIn Parkinson's disease the decrease of olfactory function seems to depend on the initial olfactory status: patients whose ability to smell initially is not highly affected show a clear impairment at follow-up while initially low affected patients do not or even improve. ⶠThe detectability of OERPs in patients suffering from Parkinson's disease changes over time, indicating fluctuating olfactory function. ⶠThe course of Parkinson's disease is not correlated to changes in olfactory acuity.
