An association study between the genetic polymorphisms within GnRHI, LHβ and FSHβ genes and central precocious puberty in Chinese girls

▶ The relationship between three candidate genes (GnRHI, LHβ and FSHβ) and CPP (Central Precocious Puberty) in Chinese Han girls was analyzed based on SNPs and haplotypes. ▶ Nine SNPs were found, and three of them were the first time reported. ▶ The rs639403 T/C allele in FSHβ gene was probably a potential genetic marker of CPP. ▶ In LHβ gene, one risk haplotype, GCAAA, positively linked with abnormal puberty, and two haplotypes (GCGGT and CCAAA), negatively correlated with abnormal puberty.
