Abstract
ⶠNative language influences behavioral categorical phonetic boundaries for voicing. ⶠAuditory LLRs reveal systematic changes in latency/amplitude with changes in VOT. ⶠChanges in LLR morphology do not correspond to perceptual categorical boundaries. ⶠLLR responses are related to acoustical changes in speech sounds. ⶠLLR responses are independent of phonetic categorization across language groups.
