Abstract
⺠We explored how local motion signals in the peripheral visual field are integrated. ⺠We recorded ocular following responses (OFRs) to various moving gratings. ⺠The OFRs were tuned to lower spatial frequency as stimulus size increased. ⺠The OFRs to two gratings were larger than the sum of the responses to the components. ⺠A mechanism, weak signals are integrated into an effective ensemble, may underlie.
