Abstract
⺠The aim of this study was to clarify that N1 is based on memory mechanisms. ⺠We recorded N1 using an abruptly moving sound (SM-stimulus). ⺠We used an oddball paradigm with several probabilities of the SM-stimulus. ⺠As the probability decreased, the N1 amplitude increased and its latency decreased. ⺠The preceding sensory history affects N1.
