Abstract
► HF-rTMS effects on inhibitory control in normally aging elders are not well-known. ► Five daily HF-rTMS or sham stimulations over the left DLPFC were applied. ► HF-rTMS improved post-stimulation RTs during incongruent trials in the Stroop task. ► Sham stimulation resulted in no change in post-stimulation RTs in the Stroop task. ► HF-rTMS appears to improve inhibitory control in normally aging individuals.
