Abstract
⺠HF-rTMS effects on inhibitory control in normally aging elders are not well-known. ⺠Five daily HF-rTMS or sham stimulations over the left DLPFC were applied. ⺠HF-rTMS improved post-stimulation RTs during incongruent trials in the Stroop task. ⺠Sham stimulation resulted in no change in post-stimulation RTs in the Stroop task. ⺠HF-rTMS appears to improve inhibitory control in normally aging individuals.
