Abstract
⺠Spinal motor functions of the μ-opioid receptor agonist DAMGO were tested. ⺠The main DAMGO action is generated via interneuronal systems. ⺠μ-Opioidergic spinal functions are extensively involved in spinal motor control. ⺠The DAMGO action exceeds a mere suppression of withdrawal reactions.
