Abstract
⺠Interest in blood-borne proteomic biomarkers in neurological research is mounting. ⺠Preanalytical variables are frequently overlooked in blood proteomic analyses. ⺠Preanalytical bias can be due to technical and biological factors. ⺠Another source of variability is proteome perturbation caused by sample processing. ⺠Bioinformatics is invaluable for the storing and processing of proteomics data.
