Abstract
► Auditory brainstem responses (ABRs) were used to obtain estimates of cochlear length. ► Otoacoustic emissions (OAEs) also were collected in the same subjects. ► The correlations between OAEs and cochlear length were low. ► Apparently cochlear length is not a primary factor for individual differences in OAEs. ► Sex differences in cochlear length were greater for white than non-white subjects.
