Abstract
⺠Presbycusis is diminished in mice lacking Cav3.3 T-type calcium channels. ⺠This delay of presbycusis is accompanied by preservation of spiral ganglion neurons. ⺠Anti-epileptic drugs blocking T-type calcium channels can also delay presbycusis.
