Abstract
An efficient method for the synthesis of aryl-14-H-dibenzo[a,j]xanthenes and 1,8-dioxo-octahydroxanthenes using Dowex-50W ion exchange resin as reusable eco-friendly catalyst under solvent-free conditions is described.
