Abstract
⺠The bacterial community simultaneously degraded PHE and oxidized As (III) with efficiency. ⺠The microbial community structure varied remarkably as the ratio of PHE and As (III) changed. ⺠A 16S rDNA library was constructed from the consortium to identify the dominant bacteria.
