Abstract
► First time bacterial biofilm on bone chips were used to decolourize Amaranth dye. ► Bacterial biofilms are useful for decolourization of Amaranth dye. ► Batch and repeated batch studies showed superior over those of free cells. ► Proposed PBR is a high efficient, alternative, cheap and potential technique. ► Spectrophotometer, TLC and HPLC results are evident for decolourization of Amaranth.
