Abstract
⺠Degradation of chlorobenzene by a fluorobenzene degrading strain (F11) was evaluated. ⺠Strain F11 was not able to degrade CB without induction by FB. ⺠CB metabolism was only achieved when FB was also supplied to F11 cultures. ⺠This is the first time that co-metabolic biodegradation of CB and FB is reported.
