Abstract
⺠A crude oil-degrading consortium was selected by positive end dilution method. ⺠The microbial community of the functional consortium was characterized. ⺠Bioaugmentation with the consortium significantly enhanced crude oil removal. ⺠The removal reaction was probably first order reaction.
