Abstract
⺠The 4-CNB-degrader strain D4 was first reported from the genus of Cupriavidus sp. ⺠Cupriavidus sp. D4 could degrade 4-CNB in presence of heavy metals. ⺠The main 4-CNB degrading related genes of strain D4 were cloned and analyzed. ⺠The main 4-CNB degrading related genes were located on two plasmids.
