Abstract
⺠Extracellular polymeric substances (EPS) produced by A. fumigatus as biosorbents. ⺠High pH is favourable for the sorption of Cu(II) and Cd(II). ⺠Both the Freundlich and Langmuir models described the sorption adequately. ⺠Sorption of Cu(II) and Cd(II) involves carboxyl, amide and hydroxyl groups.
