Abstract
► Anthelmintic activity of plant extracts and the role of tannins were investigated. ► Four plant extracts completely inhibited the exsheathment process of H. contortus. ► The AH effect shown by each plant was related with their polyphenolic compounds. ► These legumes could be used as an integrated control against H. contortus.
