Abstract

âº We review the state of the art of knowledge about weathering processes in the central Namib Desert. âº Weathering processes often act in complex associations to produce small-scale weathering features. âº Weathering hotspots are key loci of dust production. âº Weathering has had long term impacts on landscape development in this hyper-arid desert.
