Abstract
⺠We examined short-term and diurnal salt secretion rates of Tamarix ramosissima. ⺠Factors controlling the salt secretion rates were investigated. ⺠The diurnal secretion rate showed the higher values during the day. ⺠Salt secretion rates were likely related to evapotranspiration rate. ⺠Solar radiation was the most influential factor on the secretion rates.
