Abstract
⺠Hemiparasitism for Krameria lappacea confirmed. ⺠Wide host range of 18 species from 17 genera in 12 families (four new angiosperm families as host plants for family). ⺠Number of known host plant species for family nearly doubled. ⺠Natural distribution and abundance likely not limited by host plants. ⺠Likely ecological keystone species due to locally high abundance possible.
