Abstract
⺠We develop a simple method to estimate groundwater discharge by vegetation. ⺠A regression equation relates vegetation greenness from MODIS EVI to ET. ⺠GIS land cover and stream locations are used to define groundwater-using vegetation. ⺠Results are comparable with previously published values.
