Abstract
⺠Buffelgrass is invading arid regions around the world and increasing fuel loads. ⺠Fire behaviors were measured in four buffelgrass-fueled prescribed fires. ⺠Observed fire behaviors were greater than observed in other fire behavior studies. ⺠As buffelgrass increases these fires threaten the survival of native species.
