Abstract
⺠Fjord lakes have complex bathymetry (multiple arms, multiple basins) and are deep. ⺠Heat budget dominated by radiative fluxes; rivers are thermally insignificant. ⺠River TS characteristics can be used to trace the fate of inflowing rivers. ⺠Lake surface temperature during the summer is highly spatially variable. ⺠Autumn overturn is more effective than spring overturn at ventilating deep water.
