Abstract
⺠We tested round goby for VHSV infection at depths ranging from 55 to 150 m. ⺠VHSV in round goby is present in Lake Ontario in depths as great as 135 m. ⺠Four fish of 139 fish collected tested positive for VHSV in offshore sampling sites. ⺠These results impact VHSV management by expanding its known depth in Lake Ontario.
