Abstract
⺠The volume-area-elevation (V-A-L) characteristics of Urmia Lake were extracted. ⺠Remote sensing data and analytical models were used. ⺠A power model and a truncated pyramid model were parameterized for Urmia Lake. ⺠Long-term variations of the lake area and volume were examined.
