Abstract
⺠We review the history of habitat alteration and fisheries in Lake Champlain. ⺠Effect of substantial habitat fragmentation on fish movements is not well understood. ⺠Habitat alteration, siltation, and eutrophication have led to fish population declines. ⺠Causes of high sea lamprey wounding rates are explored.
