Abstract
⺠Lacustrine sediment drifts are rare in modern lake systems. ⺠Lake Champlain drifts began to form 8,700-8,800 year BP. ⺠Drift A contains a mid-Holocene climate record. ⺠Drift A formed due to wind-driven internal seiche, bathymetry & water column shear.
