Abstract
► Cormorant attitudes were normally distributed between negative and positive extremes. ► Respondents tended to support population control measures (hazing, oiling, shooting). ► Anglers objected most to cormorants, conservation members objected least. ► More knowledge about cormorants = more positive attitudes/less support for control. ► Respondents with strongest negative attitudes may be fitting knowledge to attitudes.
