Abstract
⺠Cormorant attitudes were normally distributed between negative and positive extremes. ⺠Respondents tended to support population control measures (hazing, oiling, shooting). ⺠Anglers objected most to cormorants, conservation members objected least. ⺠More knowledge about cormorants = more positive attitudes/less support for control. ⺠Respondents with strongest negative attitudes may be fitting knowledge to attitudes.
