Abstract
► Overall site quality is relatively high, however avoidable impacts are prevalent. ► Mixed camping management strategy appears to be successful. ► 17 sites do not comply with visitor standards; 4 sites are approaching standard. ► Visitors more sensitive to the size of impacted areas than to intensity of impact. ► Management goals may be better served by monitoring proliferation of impacts.
