Abstract
► Mysids displayed a synchronous two-year life cycle at two different lake sites. ► Mysid growth was highest during spring and autumn. ► Mysid density was higher in summer than in winter. ► Calculations of mysid production in LPO were comparable to that of other lakes. ► Lake management plans should take into consideration mysid energy requirements.
