Abstract
⺠Round goby and Hemimysis co-occur in rocky habitat in the Great Lakes. ⺠We document the first occurrence of goby predation on Hemimysis in the Great Lakes. ⺠Predation by round goby on Hemimysis was low. ⺠Low predation by goby is likely due in part to the evasiveness of Hemimysis. ⺠An inappropriate oral morphology of gobies probably also contributes to low predation.
