Abstract
⺠The Laurentian Great Lakes are used as an example of invasional meltdown. ⺠Dreissena facilitate population growth of non-indigenous and native species. ⺠Dreissena equally facilitate native and non-native invertebrates and macrophytes. ⺠Invasional meltdown interactions are possible in only half of the cases analyzed. ⺠Dreissena facilitate many species, but invasional meltdown is not occurring.
