Abstract
⺠Temperatures in small coastal embayments are frequently too cold for warmwater fish. ⺠Rapid flushing prevents significant warming of water in embayments. ⺠Cold embayments are along the exposed shoreline, warm embayments in protected areas. ⺠Flushing time of cold embayments must be substantially reduced to warm significantly.
