Abstract
⺠A three dimensional hydrodynamic model was successfully applied to Lake Winnipeg to simulate circulation, temperature and tracer dispersion in the lake. ⺠The model simulated mean seasonal circulation shows two cyclonic gyres in the North Basin and one gyre in the South Basin. ⺠Model was used to estimate local flushing time of Red River in the southern basin.
