Abstract
►Lake Huron spring bloom chlorophyll declined ~ 50% between 1998-2002 and 2003-2006. ►April phytoplankton biovolumes declined 75% between 2001-2002 and 2003-2004. ►Daphnia population egg ratios in August decreased between 2002 and 2003. ►These data suggest bottom-up control of recent changes in the Lake Huron food web.
