Abstract
► Caged mussels were used to monitor Niagara River contaminants and identify sources. ► Data document effectiveness of remedial actions implemented at sources in the river. ► Ongoing sources of PCBs, chlorinated compound and dioxins are identified. ► Results corroborated by data from other fish and water quality monitoring programs.
