Abstract
⺠Caged mussels were used to monitor Niagara River contaminants and identify sources. ⺠Data document effectiveness of remedial actions implemented at sources in the river. ⺠Ongoing sources of PCBs, chlorinated compound and dioxins are identified. ⺠Results corroborated by data from other fish and water quality monitoring programs.
