Abstract
⺠Semi-Permeable Membrane Devices (SPMD) were used to examine DDT concentrations. ⺠Comparison of DDT to metabolites DDD and DDE indicates a historic source. ⺠Higher precipitation increases exposure and DDT uptake. ⺠High DDT uptake correlates to high sediment DDT concentration. ⺠SPMD DDT uptake exceeds tissue guidelines for impacting aquatic biota and consumers.
