Abstract
⺠We identified two new cytochrome P450 genes in the oriental migratory locust. ⺠CYP408B1 was expressed in all the developmental stages examined. ⺠CYP408B1 and CYP409A1 showed different tissue-specific expression patterns. ⺠Different insecticides either suppressed or induced the expression of these genes. ⺠RNAi revealed the detoxification function of these genes for deltamethrin.
