Abstract
⺠Oral administration of potassium bromate reduces anti-oxidant power of rat blood. ⺠The activities of anti-oxidant enzymes are altered in rat erythrocytes and plasma. ⺠The effect of potassium bromate is reversible; it is maximum at 2 d after administration and then recovery takes place.
