Abstract
⺠Hg in fish and sediment of fish ponds around the Pearl River Delta was studied. ⺠%MeHg was significantly correlated with DNA of SRB in core sediments. ⺠Significant correlation was found between THg in fish and corresponding sediment. ⺠Human health risk of consuming fish cultured around the region was assessed.
