Abstract
⺠Cohort studies on occupational exposure to pesticides and PD were meta-analyzed. ⺠Increased risk appears when combining all studies but with heterogeneity. ⺠Subgroup analyses show increased risk for incidence studies and prospective cohorts. ⺠The highest risk is observed when PD diagnosis was confirmed by a neurologist. ⺠Results support the hypothesis that exposure to pesticide increases the risk of PD.
