Abstract
► We develop a framework of average inorganic arsenic daily intake for China by analyzing the reported data. ► Estimates for health risk due to the ingestion of food products contaminated with arsenic is presented. ► Rice is the largest contributor of daily inorganic arsenic intake for the whole nation and different regions. ► Both individual and population incremental lifetime cancer risk for the adult individual are calculated for different regions. ► The population from the South has greater cancer risk than that from the North and the whole population.
