Abstract
⺠We develop a framework of average inorganic arsenic daily intake for China by analyzing the reported data. ⺠Estimates for health risk due to the ingestion of food products contaminated with arsenic is presented. ⺠Rice is the largest contributor of daily inorganic arsenic intake for the whole nation and different regions. ⺠Both individual and population incremental lifetime cancer risk for the adult individual are calculated for different regions. ⺠The population from the South has greater cancer risk than that from the North and the whole population.
