Abstract
⺠We examined the distribution of antimony in topsoil and moss in Ny-Ã
lesund, Arctic. ⺠The distribution of Sb is associated with traffic and historical mining activities. ⺠The weathering of coal bed cannot lead to the Sb increase in the surface environment. ⺠The distribution of Sb in moss could reflect the accumulation of Sb pollution. ⺠Moss can be a useful tool for monitoring Sb in highly and lightly polluted areas.
