Abstract
⺠We investigated sulphur interactions with the canopy of two boreal forests, Québec. ⺠Sulphur interchanges within the canopy were large and vary with seasons. ⺠About 1.2 kg S-SO4 haâ1 yrâ1 was taken up by the canopy during warm seasons. ⺠This represents 30-40% of annual wet S-SO4 deposition. ⺠Canopy uptake must be considered for sulphur budget estimations in boreal forests.
