Abstract
Despite of high concentrations in tissues micro essential metals only represented a small fraction (14-36%) of the whole body burden indicating preponderance of minerals on the surface and/or in the gut, and thus points to improper use of whole body concentration in metal bioavailability interpretations at hydrothermal vents.
