Abstract
⺠We identified elevated groundwater As and U concentrations around San Luis PotosÃ. ⺠Incompatibility of As and U leads to common enrichment in late volcanic products. ⺠Volcanic glass dissolution is the main trace element release mechanism. ⺠Contributions from basin filling sediments modify As/U signatures. ⺠Similarities and differences to a comparable climatogeological area were detected.
