Abstract
In this paper we consider continuous regime of liquid droplet growth in a vapor–gas mixture. Since we do not limit ourselves to any restrictions related with the slowness of the droplet growth, we discuss the problem in essentially non-steady formulation. It allows us to avoid the limitation of considering low supersaturations only. The use of self-similar method for solving transport problems helps us obtain analytical expressions for non-steady vapor concentration profile, temperature profile around the droplet and droplet growth rate.
